As time passes by, there are many improvements in the capabilities of gadgets like computers. Technology blooms rapidly without us, noticing its changes. Is internet a friend or foe?
Internet can be a foe. This may offer many online games and websites for us to be addicted. Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Defense of the Ancient (DOTA), and League of Legends (LOL) are the best examples that teenagers spend their leisure time. Internet wouldn't be a problem if people only use this on their leisure time, but they waste their money and time doing those things even if they have classes and they have important things to do. Instead of studying their lessons, teenagers take all the risks to be able to go to Interne Cafe. Because of this addiction-causing online games and websites, teenagers spend lesser time with their family, friends, love ones, and even in sports. There are also websites that promotes Pornography which is highly prohibited to be seen to those minors.

In the other side, Internet can also be a friend. There are websites that we can use for our research, for our assignments/projects, for our studies, for other things that could help us. We can get and access information quickly and easily. But not all information in the Internet is relevant.

Knowing the advantages and the disadvantages, we are now aware of their good and bad effects. It depends on how we control ourselves that we should only play games during our leisure time. We should give more importance to the people we love and who loves us; they are the only people who will help us and will stay with us in time of difficult situations and will love us for who we are. By facing modernization, we should face all the consequences. Everything has its benefit and drawback, positive and negative effect but we must our limitations. We should have self-discipline and faith to God that all things will work for the best. Remember that technology is nothing without us.
